Orange, a decentralized ID on the Bitcoin network, is announced by Microstrategy.

A decentralized identity system was introduced by Michael Saylor on May 1st at the annual Microstrategy World conference.


A midified version of Ordinals inscriptions, which were first used in January 2023, are used by the DID:BTC system. A single Satoshi, the smallest unit of currency in Bitcoin, will be used by Microstrategy to engrave identification and verification data.


Other data, such as papers or photos, will be kept somewhere free from limitations on size or content. When the Orange protocol would go online was not disclosed by the company.
