UAE states that all government workers would work remotely due to the unpredictable weather

The authority announced certain exemptions for employees whose jobs require presence at the workplace

On Thursday, May 2, the UAE stated that government workers nationwide will be permitted to work remotely because of the erratic weather that has been plaguing the country.

Given the current weather conditions in the nation, certain federal employees who are required to be present at work have been spared from the move.

On May 2, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE) recommended remote work for workers in the private sector.

An NCM specialist earlier stated that the upcoming weather pattern is not expected to be the same as the downpour experienced on April 16. Instead, days are expected to see moderate to heavy rainfall over dispersed areas, with lightning and thunder occurring from time to time and a chance of hail.

On Monday, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority declared that it was ready for the erratic weather. In discussions, representatives talked about the precautions that need to be taken at this time and how prepared all key parties are.
