The "highest point" of Shah Rukh Khan's support for KKR in the IPL is revealed: "It makes me very happy."

In an interview with a sports channel prior to Friday's IPL match, Shah Rukh Khan explained why he likes to support the cricket club.

The owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), actor Shah Rukh Khan, disclosed in an interview prior to the IPL game on Friday what makes him happy to support the team. Being able to provide future cricket players from the nation with a platform is the "highest point" for him, he told Star Sports. In a world where there are crores of people, Shah Rukh surmised that only a hand-picked few could become professional cricket players. He said that many more young cricketers are given the chance to represent their country because of the IPL. "Our squad is full with young, talented athletes. Many cricketers who began their careers with us, including Sanju Samson, Mohammed Shami, Iqbal, and Kuldeep, he reflected.

The actor claims that what makes him happy above all else is being able to provide young children with possibilities.“For me, the highest point is being able to give opportunity to a young kid. In the melee, they become what they’re destined to become. I don’t even remember, but we’ve had so many boys play with us and become such amazing players for our country. But apna personal hai ki, Rinku wahan pohoch kayega to khushi hogi.(But it brings me joy and feels personal if someone like Rinku makes it big.)”

Shah Rukh, who refers to himself as the "12th man of KKR," also described the first few years of being the team's owner as "challenging" because he wasn't a cricket player. He also said it took him some time to convince the players that they should allow everything some breathing room.

Regarding a pause

Shah Rukh disclosed in the same interview that he will start prepping for his upcoming film in June and start filming in July or August. Following his roles in three movies last year (Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki), he stated he wanted time off before picking up new projects.
